This exam certifies users wishing to focus on online content and social media. It is ideal for students and professionals looking to get their feet wet in the Final Cut Pro ecosystem. It tests the main features of Final Cut Pro at an introductory-to-intermediate level and includes questions about integrating iPhone video and iPad into the production process.

Upon completion of an online FCP Certification Exam, you will get a notice of pass/fail. Should you pass, you can then choose to purchase your personalized FCP Certification and online credentials for $149.
Exam Objectives
FMC and Apple conducted research to identify the foundational skills students need to effectively communicate using Final Cut Pro and using it to edit social media content. Based on feedback from educators, video editing departments, businesses, and educational institutions around the world, the objectives cover entry-level skill expectations for someone looking to create and publish content for social media. An individual earning this certification has approximately 80 – 100 hours of instruction and hands-on experience with the product, and is familiar with product features and capabilities, as well as relevant career concepts as it relates to social media.

Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites to take the exam. Students however should have some understanding of Final Cut Pro and various social media platforms/ideas if they wish to pass.
